EDP Sciences was founded in Paris in 1920 by world-renowned scientists such as Nobel laureates Marie Curie, de Broglie, and Jean Perin, with a long history of over a hundred years to date. In 2019, EDP Sciences was fully acquired by Science Press affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and became the overseas publishing brand and international communication platform of Science Press. EDP Sciences currently publishes 83 scientific and technological periodicals, among which 62 are in English, and 29 of them are indexed by SCI, 8 are included in ESCI. Nearly a hundred high-quality French and English books are published every year.
EDP Sciences is an international scientific and technological publishing organization, and its products mainly focus on fields such as physics, astronomy, mathematics, energy, materials science, engineering, chemistry, environment and medicine, etc. Among the clients it serves, 33% are from the United States, 26% from European countries other than France, 22% from France, 15% from Asia, and 4% from other parts of the world.
