As one of the key academic book projects on Chinese humanities and social sciences over the past century, the database collects16,726 titles and 18,249 volumes of book reproductions in the period of the Republic of China(1912-1949). Since 2005, Library and Information Committee of national universities and colleges has collected, sorted out and selected a batch of academic books in the humanities and social sciences based on the library catalogue system of the Republic of China period for limited reproduction.
